Monthly Sponsorship
Many of our senior donkeys will reside at the rescue for the rest of their lives.There are different reasons why each one should remain, but, in essence, these older donkeys require more specialized care, and we feel they have been through enough changes in their lives.They are happy and secure here, and we know best how to meet their needs.
When you sponsor a donkey with your monthly gift, you help us provide and budget for not only their basic everyday needs, but also for the unexpected. Special supplements or medication, vet visits and hospital stays are always potentially part of the care of our seniors or other donkeys with special requirements.By having multiple sponsors for our donkeys, you help us cover our daily expenses for them so that we are prepared for the unexpected.

A donation to a worthy cause is always a great gift! Now you can Virtually Adopt one of our donkeys for yourself or as a gift for someone else.

, you can adopt a donkey friend. You will receive a photo card of one of our donkeys with their story printed on the back, and an adoption certificate.
By adopting a donkey, you help us continue to provide exceptional care for all of our donkeys, and you spread awareness by sharing the photo of your adopted friend.

Financial contributions

Workplace Giving Programs
Many companies offer workplace giving programs! Does yours?
Workplace “match” programs are a form of corporate charitable giving. Many companies will match your charitable donations at a 1-to-1 rate. Check with your company’s human resources department to see if they match their employees’ charitable donations. If they do, your donations to the donkeys could be doubled – at no additional cost to you!
Donor Advised Funds
A donor advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to support your favorite causes. If you have a donor advised fund, DAF Direct enables you to recommend grants to Little Longears directly from your DAF (as long as your DAF’s sponsoring organization is participating).
